USB Digimode Interface for your Motorola Micom Mobat Commercial Transceivers allowing you to utilise software such as WSJT-X, FLDigi, Ham Radio Deluxe, Echolink, PSK31, DM780, N1MM Logger, MixW and many more.

With this interface connected to your Micom Radio, you will be up and running on FT8, PSK31, Echolink, SSTV, Pactor, Packet or any mode that requires Tx/Rx Audio Interfacing between your PC and Radio within minutes.

The Digimode-4-Micom interface provides a single USB connection to your PC  and has a built in USB Serial UART and USB Sound Card dedicated for digital mode operation. The interface connects to the DB25 or DB44 accessory port on the rear of the radio and via 600:600 Ohm transformers offers fully balanced audio as required by the Micom Tranceivers.

The interfaces built-in serial UART allows you to communicate with the radio using the Motorola MRC application.

Cable length is 1.5m from the USB port on your PC to the interface box. The cables from the interface box to the transceiver is 0.6m. The box is very compact at 80x40x20mm making it ideal to hide away behind the PC or transceiver using no desk space.

Note that if you see we are out of stock, just drop me an email for an update. It generally means we have run out of PCBs and will be popping some of the Micom Specific ones into our next order. We are not usually out of stock for more than 10-14 days.

Micom Transceivers have two different accessory connectors. Use the purchase options to select the interface you need for your radio. It is worth checking the rear panel of your radio to confirm if you have either the DB25 or DB44 port and select the appropriate option.

Radios with the 25 Pin DB25 accessory connector
Micom 2, Micom 2E-ALE, Micom RM125, Micom RM125R, Micom RM500, Micom RM500R

Radios with the 44 Pin DB25 accessory connector
Micom 2ES/RS***/TS, Micom 3R, Micom 3T

Note: On the Micom 2RS BK, CK, EK, FK and GK variants, the DB-44 socket on the radio rear panel may be recessed more that the standard 2RS version. This makes a standard DB-44 not always full push in to the rear of the radio.

This issue can easily be resolved by using an L-COM DB-44 Male-Female socket-saver. This plugs in and secures to the radio and then the interface can connect to this. The socket-saver can be purchased
