VAT, Import Duties and Customs Charges
We are based in the United Kingdom and ship goods internationally using Royal Mail and other courier services
 

United States (DDP)

Orders shipped to the United States are sent on a DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) basis.
 

Any applicable import duties, taxes, or tariffs are calculated and paid at the time of shipment, meaning:

  • ✅ No additional charges should be payable on delivery

  • ✅ The price you pay at checkout includes all applicable shipping-related fees

​European Union and Rest of World (DDU)

Most international shipments (including to the European Union) are sent on a DDU (Delivered Duties Unpaid) basis.

This means that you (the customer) are responsible for any import charges that may apply in your country. These may include:

  • Import VAT (charged at your local rate)

  • Customs duties (if applicable)

  • A fixed €3 EU customs charge for low-value items (under €150, where applicable)

  • Local carrier handling or processing fees

 

These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and must be paid before delivery.

General Information

We accurately declare the value of all items on customs forms and cannot mark goods as gifts or undervalue shipments.

Failure to pay import charges (for DDU shipments) may result in the item being returned or destroyed by the local authority.

In such cases, we are unable to refund shipping costs.

Payment Overview

I offer a range of secure payment options through my website, including PayPal, major credit and debit cards, and digital wallets such as Apple Pay (where available). Shipping Policy

All items are shipped from the United Kingdom using Royal Mail Small Packets Airmail Service (international orders) or First Class post (UK orders). Shipping charges cover postage, packing materials, and labour. Orders are typically dispatched within 2 business days of cleared payment.


Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on destination, customs processing, and local postal conditions.

Typical delivery times are:

  • United Kingdom: 1–3 working days

  • Europe: 7–14 working days

  • North America: 7–14 working days

  • Rest of World: 10–28 working days

 

Delays may occur due to customs inspections, holidays, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Process

Shipping labels are generated via a mix of courier services and Royal mail. Orders are dispatched to the address provided in your PayPal account. A automated shipping confirmation email will be sent via Paypal once your item has been dispatched.Be sure to check your junk folder for shipping confirmation emails if you have not seen one arrive.

Please ensure that your PayPal address details are accurate. We cannot be responsible for items lost due to incorrect address information provided at checkout.

 

Delivery Responsibility & Delays

Once an item has been shipped, delivery times are managed by the postal service and customs authorities and are therefore outside our control.

 

Non-Delivery Policy

If your item has not arrived within 35 days of dispatch, we will arrange a replacement shipment.

 

Service Availability

In rare cases, Royal Mail may suspend services to certain destinations. If this occurs, any affected orders will be cancelled and fully refunded.

Occasionally, the website may display notices regarding shipping delays (for example, during holidays or periods of absence).

Warranty & Returns Policy

All products are sold with a 30-day “no questions asked” satisfaction guarantee and a 12-month warranty against material defects.

If, for any reason, within 30 days of receiving your interface you decide it is not suitable, you may return it for a full refund of the purchase price.
The only conditions are that return shipping costs are your responsibility, and the item must be returned in “as new” and fully working condition.

​

In addition, if your interface develops a fault within 12 months of receipt due to a manufacturing defect or material failure, I will repair or replace the item free of charge. This is subject to the faulty item being returned to us.

​

If a replacement is not available and repair is not practical or cannot be completed within a reasonable timeframe, a full refund may be offered in exchange for the return of the product.

​

The warranty period is 12 months from the original date of purchase.

 

What Our Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover issues arising from:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Improper installation or incorrect use

  • Poor maintenance or neglect

  • Misuse, abuse, or accidental damage

  • Unauthorised modifications or alterations

  • Faults caused by other equipment, accessories, or products not supplied by XGGCOMMS.COM

 

The warranty will be void if a product is returned damaged or tampered with, unless the damage is proven to be the result of a manufacturing defect.

Returns Policy

Returns under both the 30-day satisfaction guarantee and the 12-month warranty are the responsibility of the buyer, and return shipping costs must be covered by the customer.

​

If you are returning an item under the 30-day money-back guarantee, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued excluding the original shipping charge.
