The FT-710 is unusual in that it already includes USB CAT control via the USB Type-B socket on the rear panel. To take full advantage of this feature while also providing a dedicated USB sound card for digital modes, we offer a dedicated FT-710 version of the DigiMode-4 interface.
 

With its built-in USB hub and protected CAT pass-through connection, the DigiMode-4 connects directly to the rear of the FT-710. A single USB connection to your PC provides both a dedicated USB sound card for FT8, FT4 and JS8Call operation, together with full access to the FT-710s built-in CAT control functions.
